Last summer, I saw this old wooden lemonade stand at our local park and I just started dreaming up all of these ideas of how to style it for photos. Fast forward to this spring when Wren and James released these adorable pinafore dresses and I knew right then, I had to make all of my lemonade stand dreams come true. My girls had such a fun time filling their glasses full of lemonade and stuffing their faces with all of the strawberries. I loved how the photos turned out so I wanted to share them with you today and my homemade lemonade recipe to kick off your Fourth of July weekend!
Easy Homemade Lemonade
- Squeeze the juice from about 8 lemons to make 1 1/2 cups of lemon juice ( I use this juicer)
- Add 1 1/3 cups of sugar & 1 cup of water to a pot and heat over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and liquid is clear again. Let cool.
- Add lemon juice to 8 cups of water and cooled syrup. Chill and serve!
I hope you have a great Fourth of July weekend and try out my lemonade recipe! It’s so easy and SO good! Also, if you are interested, I put together a little lemonade stand giveaway on my Instagram and I am giving most of everything you see in these photos!
